Happy Pi-Day Friday!

Google does it again.  Cloud storage is normally cost prohibitive for smaller businesses who have large data amounts to store, but as of Google's recent announcement, that is no longer the case.  They are now offering a 1 terabyte plan for just $9.99 per month.  Compare that to Dropbox where that $10 will currently only get your 100 gigabytes.  Depending on your comfort level with Google housing your data, this may be the route a lot of companies have been looking for.

As Dell Partners, we regularly experience the benefits of choosing and recommending Dell solutions to our customers.  Recently, the band Linkin Park used a Dell set of solutions to produce, render, and edit their new music video.  The 3D environment shown in the video is composed of a virtual cityscape featuring over 50,000 buildings, 7 city districts (over 3.5 million polygons), and includes compositions of the artists recorded by 4D scanners directly into the Dell systems.

You can check the music video out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToHo29kD9Go&feature=share&list=PL08230BC08BF305AC
